Daily Limit

In accordance with MCPS policy, students may not earn more than 8 hours within 24 hours.

Monthly Limit

Students may not submit more than 3 entries per month for for specific practical and administrative reasons

AI

AI Policy

 We will use a widely accepted AI model checker to ensure that all work is 100% original. Our objective is to promote journalism through students.

SSL

SSL Hours

Essay submission:  

  • 500 words= 1 ssl hour

  • 500 words - 1000 words= 2 ssl hours

  • 1000 words - 2000 words= 4 ssl hours

Video submission:

  • 30 seconds= 2 ssl hours

  • 30 seconds - 3 minutes= 4 ssl hours

Art piece submission :

  • All pieces receive 2 hours.

  • All pieces must include a 2 sentence minimum explanation of their piece.
